The trust gap is widening.

Over the past few years, hiring has changed. A CV is no longer read as a reliable record of what someone did.

The job market is full of exaggerated claims, polished but empty descriptions, and now AI-generated résumés that take minutes to make.

Hiring managers keep asking the same question:

“How can we be sure this person actually achieved what they claim?”
  • Exaggerated claims

Traditional CVs are full of inflated numbers and misleading statements.

  • AI fabrication

Generative AI lets anyone produce a polished résumé in seconds, true or not.

  • Remote reality

Global hiring makes background checks harder than ever.

  • Trust deficit

Employers are forced to be sceptical of every word on a résumé.

How it works

Three steps, and one email for the person who confirms it.

  1. Write the card

One achievement: what you did, the measurable result, and the evidence, such as a dashboard, a pull request or a screenshot.

  2. Your manager confirms it

They get one email with a link. No account and no call: they read the card on their phone, then approve it, or decline it with a reason.

  3. Share the signed record

An approved card is signed and locked, and appears on your public profile. Anyone can check that it has not changed since.

What Proofile offers

A modern way to replace unverified claims with evidence, signatures and data.

Verifiable Impact Cards

Each candidate writes an Impact Card for one measurable accomplishment.

  • What was achieved, with the numbers: revenue, sales, churn, time saved
  • When, and the evidence: screenshots, documents, links to the work
  • Locked once approved and digitally signed

Manager verification and digital signatures

Turn accomplishments from claims into records confirmed by the person who saw the work.

  • Confirmed from the verifier’s own email address, shown by its domain
  • A simple approve or decline page that works on any phone
  • Timestamped signatures and a complete history

An evidence-based professional profile

Instead of a résumé, a profile of verified records to share.

  • Achievements confirmed by the people who saw them
  • Measurable results and the evidence behind them
  • Who verified each one, and when

A powerful tool for employers

It answers one of the hardest questions in hiring today.

  • An authentic, confirmed record of performance
  • Candidates compared on measurable results
  • Hiring decisions based on evidence

Why this matters now

  1. CVs lost credibility

Many résumés contain exaggerations. Employers want proof, not promises.

  2. AI scales fabrication

Generative AI lets anyone produce polished claims. The antidote is verified data.

  3. Global remote hiring

Different cultures and no personal familiarity call for a standard way to verify.

  4. Metrics over words

Startups hire on MRR, CAC and velocity. These numbers must be visible, verifiable and comparable.

Who it is for

A verification layer that works for everyone in the hiring chain.

  • For candidates

    “Show your true value.”

Stand out with accomplishments that prove your impact, not just describe it.

    • More credibility
    • A competitive edge
    • A career identity built on evidence
  • For managers

    “Support your team.”

Confirm what your people achieved in two minutes, from your phone.

    • One email; no account and no password
    • No long reference calls
    • Your address is never shown, only its domain
  • For companies

    “Don’t rely on claims.”

Rely on confirmed performance, and lower the risk of a bad hire.

    • Less hiring risk
    • Faster shortlisting
    • Decisions based on evidence
  • For investors

    “Trusted data.”

A scalable, global answer to the lack of trust in hiring.

    • A large market: HR tech and SaaS
    • Network effects
    • Solves a global, AI-driven problem

Questions

What a verified card proves, and what it does not.

What does verified mean?

That the person the candidate named opened a link sent to their email address and confirmed the card. The record shows that address’s domain, so you can see whether it was a work address.

Can someone verify their own card?

Not with their own address: Proofile refuses it. They could use a second address they control, which is why every record shows the verifier’s email domain and marks personal addresses.

What does the signature prove?

That the card has not changed since it was approved. Proofile signs exactly what the verifier saw, and anyone can check the signature against the published key. It proves no more than the verifier’s word, and Proofile holds the key.

Can a verified card be edited?

No, it is locked. To change it, the candidate revises it, and the new version needs its own verification before it replaces the old one.

Who sees my profile?

Anyone with the link, while your profile is public. You choose which verified cards appear on it, and you can make the whole profile private.

This is not a new résumé format.

It is a verification layer for the global job market.
